The mission of C.A.S.T.L.E. (Children’s After School Transitional Learning Environment) is to enrich the after school and vacation hours of the children in the Sebastopol Union School District through quality child care activities, enrichment, and opportunities for learning and socialization.

Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which positive activities and relationships foster the social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child.

C.A.S.T.L.E. provides a supportive extension of the school day for TK-6th grade students, offering morning care, after-school care, and full-day programs during school breaks. Our program creates a balance between structured activities and free choice, allowing children to explore their interests, develop friendships, and build confidence in a welcoming community environment.

Each day, students have opportunities to participate in a variety of engaging activities including arts and crafts, outdoor play, games, enrichment, and collaborative projects. During school holidays and vacation periods, C.A.S.T.L.E. offers themed camps and special activities designed to keep children active, creative, and connected with their peers.

Our staff are dedicated to creating a positive environment where children feel respected, included, and encouraged to grow. By fostering kindness, responsibility, and cooperation, C.A.S.T.L.E. aims to support not only academic success but also the development of important life skills.
